2007-08 Bucks

Aussie Center Andrew Bogut sat out 16 games due to injury, but he is living up to his #1 NBA draft pick potential  – and his numbers are expected to continue improving  into ’07-08. Improvement remains a question mark for Bobby Simmons, however,  who did not play all last season due to ankle surgery.  Charlie Villanueva remains a strong power forward – and if the team carries on in good health, it can prove to be incredibly talented. In fact, critics note that a healthy Michael Redd would have likely taken Milwaukee to the playoffs. It remains to be seen weather high maintenance Yi Jianlian gets used to Milwaukee, and if his strong offence will build up the team.  Ticket buyers can look to the Bucks  to improve their defense – and their consistency

Previous Seasons

Here is a carefully compiled list of reasons NOT to go out right now and buy Milwaukee Bucks tickets at the Bradley Center. First let’s start with Michael Redd. Unstoppable, multidimensional, unheralded superstars with small egos are a dime a dozen. Who wants to see the unassuming Redd light up opponents, when they can watch the likes of McGrady and Bryant solidify their spots as the NBA’s most overrated prima-donnas. Second, there’s T.J. Ford. Is anyone else sick of seeing this guy skate around defenders like a modern-day Isiah Thomas? It’s unbearable. Throw in the likes of Andrew Bogut and Jerome Magloire, and you have the makings for a team that is really going nowhere.

Is anyone buying this? If this is a less then compelling argument, it’s only because the Bucks a have one of the most exciting teams in basketball.

Milwaukee Bucks tickets have not always been synonymous with excitement. Even in their heyday, the Bucks were personified by workman-type players. From Oscar Robertson and Lew Alcindor to Sidney Moncrief and Jack Sikma, the Bucks were never a team to out-dazzle anyone.

The no-nonsense approach paid off through the years, putting the Milwaukee Bucks among the NBA elite in the 1970’s. The team took the NBA gold in 1971, and played for it again in 1974. Along the way Alcindor changed his name to Kareem Abdul Jabbar and departed for Los Angeles. Robertson retired at the beginning of the 1975 season.
